POSTCARDS FROM PARIS

A group film directed and performed by the students of the 2004 Film Workshop. Dozens of students, alumni and mentors came together to produce this singular tribute to 1920’s Paris and to silent film.

When an innocent young American (Sarah Blake) lands in Paris and is befriended by Man Ray's mistress Kiki de Montparnasse, she's thrown into the middle of Modernism. From filmmaker Rene Clair, to the Shakespeare and Co. writers circle, from poets and painters to philanthropists and philanderers, she making a splash!

 

 

THE LOCKERS by Samantha Yu


A boy (Max Strebel) discovers a series of lockers which mysteriously open and reveal his major preoccupations—games, studies, sex—on his path to self-awareness.
